ACSR conductors consist of a core of galvanized steel wires surrounded by one or more layers of EC Grade 1350 or 1370 aluminum wires concentrically stranded.
This combination provides excellent conductivity from aluminum and high mechanical strength from the steel core.
They are widely used for overhead transmission and distribution lines, especially where long spans, high tension, or severe climatic conditions exist.
Main Features
High electrical conductivity (≥ 61 % IACS)
Superior tensile strength due to galvanized steel core
Excellent corrosion resistance (Class A/B/C galvanization)
Suitable for LV / MV / HV overhead lines
Manufactured in compliance with EN 50182 / IEC 61089
