XLP12BC is a pre-grafted polyethylene compound designed for moisture-cure crosslinking in cable insulation applications.
It is processed with its corresponding catalyst masterbatch CAT12N (5%) in standard extrusion lines.
The compound contains 2.5% carbon black for UV stability and weathering resistance, making it ideal for Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) insulation.<\/p>\n

Processing Guidelines<\/span>
\n<\/strong>Mix XLP12BC with CAT12N (95:5 ratio) at room temperature before extrusion.
\nExtrusion temperatures: 140\u2013190\u00b0C (zone dependent).
\nDo not preheat or store premix for long durations.
\nCrosslinking by immersion in 90\u00b0C water (2\u20136 hrs) or steam (6\u201315 hrs).<\/p>\n
